As I thought of what to write a tremendous feeling of sorrow and loss washed over me. I have lost my beautiful sister-my brother has lost

his beautiful wife-my children have lost their wonderful Aunt. Where do I even begin ? She came into our lives like a gentle breeze. Time spent with her was always joyful for she brought  love with her wherever she went.

It took a brief moment for her to win our hearts. Her smile could warm up any room. She was all grown up yet she saw the world with an innocence most of us have long since put aside.  All who are reading this knew Nilaya –her spirituality-her gentleness-her positive outlook on life were infectious. She brought out the best in those around her. There were times when she was gone, yet when when she returned , it was as if she never had been away. I can hear her voice  in my mind now –so sweet with her little accent. I long to talk to her again. It was much too soon for her to leave. So many of us needed her. She also gave my father the love of a daughter. His death was a terrible blow to her  and she grieved as much as we did.   I know that wherever she is, she is with him. She called him “Joe” in her own special way.  I so regret the fact that our lives separated when she worked in Mexico. How I wish she were back here with us again.

Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology, Master in Health Sciences, Founder and Director of Synchronicity Centre for Transformation, the first Spiritual SPA in Mexico for Consciousness and Personal Development, University teacher, advisor, strategist, psychotherapist, and a talented motivational speaker. Nilaya has been a key player in the movement of those visionaries interested in the awakening of the human potential.

With a true passion for life, she has helped thousands of people: educators, executives, administrators, health specialists, business owners, teachers and parents to access their innate abilities. By teaching them how, right or wrong, they are the ones who create their own reality, Nilaya shows how to consciously direct the human energy towards reaching goals and, by awakening true potential, they can thereby create success in their careers, balance their lives, deepen their relationships and find the true happiness they deserve. She helps people to awaken unto themselves and opens a new way to self-learning, imparting wisdom and bestowing trust so that they, themselves can make their dreams become reality.
Nilaya's vision is to awaken the individual, social, and global life consciousness so that human beings can become harmonic co-creators in this world.

Many times during our lives we feel moments in which experiencing and just walking through life becomes very difficult, painful and complicated. Very often, we perceive humanity as a heavy, painful and unexpressed weight. We follow the norms, rules, patterns we have learned to follow as a path to success only to find frustration, loneliness, temporary happiness and just the slightest bit of understanding of how we really function.

Over and over we look for the answers outside of ourselves. We hope that a relation-ship, a business, having money and power and acquiring things will help us to understand and make us feel better. However, looking for the answers on the outside just gives us more complicated answers to try to understand. Looking for answers in
the external world will give us even more frustrations because the answers we find are always related to our very own three-headed monster: Our past, our future and our fears.

We need to develop the desire to caress our own internal world, the world where true power exists. It is there where you can discover who you are meant to be and find the direction for the life that is your destiny.

Inside us is the map for the way back home. Our past, our future and our fears exist only within our heads. We allow them to exist because we still don't find personal significance or connection with something of deeper meaning. Thus we fill our lives with work, relationships, satisfying bodily needs and desires, concern with our looks and chasing success. All these things are meaningless if we are not connected with our true power, the power that is our essence; that is our Being. This Being that is just within ourselves.
Love, Nilaya

I do my thing and you do your thing
I am not in this world to
live up to your expectations,
and you are not in this world to

live up to mine.
You are you
and I am I
and if by chance we find each other,
it's beautiful.

And it was...

“You should always leave loved ones with loving words...

It may be the last time you see them.”

Fly Gently Beautiful Nilaya

You will always be in our hearts

Forever and one day more...

Look up into the starry sky
You may sense me flying by
Look out on a bright sunny day
It’s not true that I’ve gone away

Don’t you know I will always be near
Can’t you feel my love for you so clear
I see the tears flow from your eyes
I hear your soul as it silently cries

My arms reach out to send you love
The message dispatched from a star above
You may think that we are far apart
When really I am as close as your heart

Look through your soul and you will see
My love for you will always be.
I'm just a whisper in the wind away
We will be together forever and a day

Just after the storm,
We see a rainbow above
It speaks to us of peace
It speaks to us of love

The sky that had been grey
Suddenly turns bright
And we’re bathed in the glow
Of the rainbow colored light

We see the mood has changed
In this short span of time
From all the fury and anger
To peace that’s truly sublime

We see the rainbow glowing
See how it lights the skies
It brings a feeling of hope
As it’s reflected in our eyes

The rainbow-colored mural
Displayed for all to share
Was put there as a promise
By one who really cares

As soft and gentle as a warm summer breeze

Drifting through our hearts she came

Her sweet voice singing songs of love

Like the music of her chosen name.

Nilaya sweet Nilaya like the wings of butterflies

Whispered softly as she walked through the darkest night

Her words brought comfort to the aching heart

And gave this troubled world a ray of light.

A breath of spring that warmed the soul

And eased the troubled mind

She softly shared her spoken words

Her heart and spirit always kind.

She entered and the room transformed

Enchanted by her elegance and grace

Her smile as sunshine in the rain

Bathed in light the beauty of her face.

Angels wings in her gentle touch

Caressing all she knew with love

Our hearts would never let her go

When the angels called her from above.

Her journey through a cold cruel world

Where fears and tragedy still thrive

Has now come to a peaceful path

Where her dreams have come alive.

So when in troubled times we need

To hear once more her voice so sweet

Her songs will echo in our hearts

Until once again we meet.

When days in life are over

When memories begin

I think about you often

The joy your light brought in

My heart is filled with magic

That you have given me

A gentle touch of tenderness

Forever I shall see

We look to find the answers

That haunt us in these hours

Yet I know your goodness

Was all "your" special powers

I see you in my special place

A place I have to go

Where skies are filled with diamonds

That share your special glow

My spirit is now captured

With love that you did share

I carry you with dignity

Like soft sweet morning prayers

I loved you to the fullest

For all things that we knew

The gifts in life you gave me

Now treasured in my view

I hold you up in spirit

You fill my life with peace

A moment now is silence

My heartbeat shall increase

So travel on forever

In a quiet peaceful place

Where angel's roam in glory

Your wings in life embrace.

Where are you this moment?
only in my dreams.
You're missing, but you're always
a heartbeat from me.

I'm lost now without you,
I don't know where you are.
I keep watching, I keep hoping,
but time keeps us apart

Is there a way I can find you,
is there a sign I should know,
is there a road I could follow
to bring you back home?

Winter lies before me
now you're so far away.
In the darkness of my dreaming
the light of you will stay

If I could be close beside you
If I could be where you are
if I could reach out and touch you
and bring you back home

Is there a way I can find you
Is there a sign I should know
Is there a road I could follow
to bring you back home to me
